The RENNtech Power Module (RPM) ECU tune delivers significant horsepower and torque gains across the entire power band. By modifying boost mapping and keeping optimized air-to-fuel ratios, the entire power and torque curve is shifted upward delivering +90 HP +106 LB-FT in the 4.0-liter BiTurbo V8 -engine (M177) found in the Mercedes-AMG GT-series of vehicles, based on Dyno measured power figures.

The RPM is contained in a CNC machined 6061 aluminum case with pre-labeled wires and connectors. The RPM comes with a bypass that can be installed in place of the module for quickly turning the vehicle back to stock. The harness can be uninstalled for returning the vehicle back to stock.

Through our 30+ years of ECU tuning experience, countless hours of in-house R&D, and long-term testing the RPM ECU upgrade offers the best in quality, performance, and reliability. 

Dyno measured factory power output for the AMG GT 55 is 489 HP and 582 TQ.  RENNtech RPM increases the performance output up to 579 HP and 700 TQ, gaining up to +90 HP and +106 TQ.

  • Rated by Mercedes-Benz (avg.):                        469 HP @ 5,500-6,250rpm; 516 LB-FT @ 2,250-4,500rpm
  • Dyno measured by RENNtech (peak):               489 HP @ 4,900rpm; 582 LB-FT @ 3,400rpm
    • Note: Mercedes M177 engine performance when measured on the dyno obtains higher power numbers than rated from factory. Performance numbers published by MBUSA are a calculated average within a specific rpm range, which obviously result  in lower power numbers than at the peak. HP and TQ gains calculated by RENNtech are always based on peak stock results measured by RENNtech and upgraded peak results measured by RENNtech.
